Apex Legends: How to Earn Legend Tokens, Scrap Metal, and Apex Coins

Respawn recently launched Apex Legends, an online battle royale style shooter game and has received tremendous success from the fans of this genre.

Developers at Respawn managed to innovate this new game archetype by providing their touch to the battle royale style genre as they took a lot of effort to bring Titanfall feel to the Apex Legends gameplay.

Similar to other battle royale titles, Apex Legends also have different in-game currency to purchase different cosmetics, weapon skins, and items from the in-game store.

This in-game currency includes Apex Coins, Metal Scraps and Legend Tokens, which can be received after every match. Players can earn this currency in the game and also can buy it by paying real money.

The prominent feature of Legend Tokens is to unlock limited time skins or characters by paying these Tokens. The Apex Legends in-game store provides exclusive cosmetics for gamers to improve their in-game experiences and provide different interactions to enjoy.

But these items stay for a specific time frame only as a countdown watch keeps on ticking, showcasing the available time left for players to grab on to that item.

As it is not yet clear that once the item is removed from the store, will it be permanently removed from the game or it will be available for purchase in the future.

Legend Tokens have another helpful role in the game as players can spend these tokens to unlock the game characters and use them in the battle.

Currently, Apex Legends have featured eight different characters in the game, but two of them are locked and can only be accessed after unlocking them by either spending 750 Apex Coins or 12,000 Legend Tokens.

Earning Legend Tokens is quite simple as the game is designed with in-game ranking mechanics which directly provides players with Tokens at every level up. Players can earn Tokens as they progress in levels and open up new Apex Pack or loot boxes.

If a player successfully eliminates the champion of the match, they can receive 500 additional XP, which can help in much quick level ups. Champion is a player who outperformed all the other players in his previous match, so killing that player can turn out to be quite challenging.

Another option for noobs is to hide in any corner for as long as possible without getting noticed, as to survive for the most extended duration possible to receive maximum XP.

Still, as you progress in Apex Legends, the game automatically starts to offer Tokens and eventually if you plan your purchases, you can easily save up a lot of Tokens for your account.
