Anthem: PS4 Players Face Full System Crash!

Anthem has gone through a rollercoaster ride since its launch with many reviewers claiming it to be one of the lesser known titles by BioWare.

But recently in addition to previous in-game glitches, a new bug is frustrating all the PS4 users as they are facing a complete system crash down while launching Anthem title on their devices.

As per various complaints reported at the subreddit thread on the official page of Anthem, players accessing the title on PS4 faced a significant system crash while trying to shut the application from the menu bar.

While trying to log off from the application, PS4 console users faced a total freeze mode and completely stopped to respond as if the console was unplugged. Moreover, users of PS4 are facing such issue since the launch of the latest VIP Demo for the Anthem.

This issue is appearing to be persistent, and players and community members have started to report a slew of problems faced by them on various platforms.

A Redditor namely SoundAndFurt87 posted a suggestion on the Anthem post thread, claiming that Sony is well aware of the ongoing problem faced by users of PS4 and are readily refunding any player who doesn’t want to continue with the Anthem and want to stop playing the Legion of Dawn edition.

A user namely bluetidepro further commented on the thread, suggesting that they were successful in receiving the refund by contacting directly to the Sony customer serves. But to do so, players have to ensure the Sony service correspondent that their device has completely crashed and is not supporting the Anthem demo.

Sony has a few restrictive return policies for their digital items as they only consider players as eligible for a refund if they have not downloaded or streamed the purchased title.

Moreover, players have to report within the fourteen days of purchasing a game and users will only be refunded if the title is not responding or resulting in glitch or breakdown. If the tech team at Sony finds the claims to be true, then the players will be refunded the amount spent by the user.

Currently, it is not exactly clear about the fact that how many players are facing such an issue with their consoles still this issue of a system crash is being reported by a lot of players and requires a quick fix to restrain players from abandoning the title.

Let’s see how Anthem developers respond to this issue and fix this problem for their fan and community members. It is expected that developers at Anthem are continually working to recover this issue and provide players with a smooth and dynamic in-game experience.
